Who is with us/ who is gone?

Man, so many names and faces. Time has erroded away so much. Here's the few I can contribute.

-Bevan- Gone (in the upstairs dept). Now a recluse in South SF
-Mark Shark- still around. Now a hippy somewhere in Napa
-Johnny Hell & Alex- Haven't seen Terrence in years, but still kicking it in the 'loin. Alex is, sadly, all but gone. If she hasn't passed on yet, it's coming soon.
-Sarah- Got clean and is living somewhere in Southern Cal, last I heard.
-Jim Todd- Became a junkie, burned a lot of bridges. Fled SF after stealing from the wrong people. Cleaned up and is now living in Wyoming
-Randy Vogle- Haven't seen him in over ten years (couldn't face him after making a few stupid passes in a drugged-up/drunken stupor at his girlfriend). Last I heard, he was living in Oakland.


Anyone else?

    Ok here goes my dead Powell Street Friends may they RIP:

    Mitch the Bitch, Swamp Thing, Mike Holic (some thoght it was Mike Aholic), Mike Fuck Up, the real Mike Mohawk (not me Mike Tsongas who newer folks started calling Mike Mohawk and Mohawk Mike.) (Damn a lot of dead Mikes), This one I can't confirm, Dave Delinquent I heard was dead. Al Schvitz (used to hang out with us down there a bit).

    Last I head were still with us: See members of this Tribe plus, Lori Lush, Becca, Ed Lush, Robert Parker, Racho, Porsche, Delphi, Wes, Marsha, Joey, Andre, Steve Stupid, Mark, Red Rachel, Larry the Mouse or Larry Mouse, Danger, Ripper, Julifer, Kolette, Sumo, Michelle, Yippie Evan, Jose, Carlos, Phinoy, Athena, Fly...

    Barry, who was that Girl that used to hang with Becca in about 83, short long bleach blonde, I don't remember her name just her face I shot up with her a few times....

    Unk: Germ, Alecia and her equally beautiful twin sister, Nazi Frank, Scumbag....

    To tired to remember many others or their catagory, stayed up all night praying a mircle would happan and that Skinhead in the White House would lose....

      I didn't know Al also gone. What happened to him?

          This has always been somthing that has never made sense to me, even in my own life- how the so many people I know (including myself) could go from rallying against the hard shit like smack, crack, meth, etc, then end up hooked a few years later.

          For me, I just thought it was the end of the world, so why the hell not? After all the world may end tomorrow. Perhaps others thought the same thing

          Well, it didn't, and so many are now gone. I'm still alive. We have a lunatic in the Whitehouse again (more dangerous than the last one). there are times that taking a piss into oblivion is really tempting.

            Yeah Dave MDC is a classic example when Mitch died Dave came up to me at a show and railed against the "powders" then later had his own problems with speed in Oregon and is now cleaned up and is Touring with the original lineup of MDC (pre Franco) sans Al.

            BTW they are thinking of playing here in the City early next year.

              Dave had problems with speed for a long long time. I'd say around the time that MDC released 'This blood's For You'.

              I'd show up at The Rathouse now and then to visit, or to crash. And while I was used to Dave being a bit hyper, quite often, he would be ultra-hyper, with all the signs of, well you know.

              from what I understand, speed wasn't his only problem. But I am glad that he's clean and survived.

              If they play over here in Sacto, I'll check them out.

              Yup, it's been about that. Well at least he's never changed it for very long. Lived in the Sunset for a while, then in Humboldt, then on Geary then disappeared into the northern Cal/southern OR woods for a bit and then returned and has been back there ever since. Like I could forget the address there. lol.

                what was the final fate of that piece of work you were dating when I first met you? I don't even remember his name, be he & I squatted a couple of times in that sealed-off hotel/shooting gallery near the train station in SoMa.

                  John. Well, Jonathan, but hated that. Wanted to be called Hellcat, but don't think anyone ever called him that.

                  Last I heard, after my beloved spouse kicked the living shit out of him several times and got him off my ass, he wooed and married a Japanese national. She apparently pretty immediately got sick of his shit and went home to Kyoto. He followed, funded by his father who promised he would only fund a ticket one-way. Once there, apparently her family made him unwelcome in the entire city. Anybody have any idea if it's a big place, I'd be interesting in knowing how unwelcome that really is. lol.

                  So he moved to Tokyo and apparently knocked up some girl (not sure if the same one he married & beat up in the state or another. He was doing translations for some newspaper or something. He tried to reach me through one of my cousins when I lived in LA in the mid-90s but that was the last time they heard from him and about the last time I spoke with his parents.

                  I still laugh out loud at the thought of his 6'4" blond and blue-eyed ass stuck permanently in Japan! :-)

      germ, i think portia told me that he was dead, could be wrong though.

      Mike fuck up, did he die? i wouldn't doubt it. i remember him when he first came to frisco. he musta been about 14.
